KiON® Polysilazanes
KiON Specialty Polymer's recently developed KiON Polysilazanes are the answer for a broad range of challenging applications that cannot be satisfied by conventional materials. KiON polymers enable long-term, cost effective and "user friendly" solutions in situations where high temperature stability, corrosion resistance, or long term durability are critical factors. The following areas of application for KiON Polysilazanes are noteworthy:
KiON polysilazanes can be used in protective coating formulations, in ceramic matrix and metal matrix composites, as a component in certain organic/inorganic “hybrid” polymers, and in a wide range of other applications, such as clear coats. KiON polymers adhere tenaciously to a spectrum of substrates, including metals, composites, graphite and glass.
